The 98-8009 is a PTFE (Teflon) o-ring for the C.A. Technologies Cougar air-assist-airless spray gun — a solvent-resistant static seal in the Cougar fluid section.
O-rings are wear items: replace on any fluid-section service, or when you see weeping, pressure loss, or a seal that has taken a set. PTFE resists aggressive solvents where standard elastomer o-rings swell. It is included in the Cougar soft-seal repair kit; buy singly for a targeted fix.
