Air Assist Airless
Spray Guns, Pumps & Tips

Air-assist-airless (AAA) combines airless fluid pressure for output with a low volume of HVLP air for a fine, soft finish — the fastest route to a showroom-quality result with high transfer efficiency and minimal overspray. C.A. Technologies builds the guns, the Peak 14:1 pumps, and the 36-series carbide tips as one all-stainless system for solvent and waterborne coatings.

Choose Your Gun or Pump

Every C.A. Technologies AAA gun runs the same 26-101 air cap and 36-series carbide tips — pick the platform that fits how you spray.

How to Choose

Hand-Held or Automatic?

Hand-held — the operator triggers the gun. Choose the compact Bobcat (17 oz, HVLP ≤18 PSI) for detail and reach, or the full-size Cougar (23 oz, HVLP ≤15 PSI, fluid shut-off) for all-day production.

Automatic — the Bobcat Automatic is machine-mounted and pneumatically actuated for reciprocators, flat-line, and robotic finishing, up to 2500 PSI fluid, recirc or non-recirc. All three run the same 36-series tips.

Fluid Tips

36-Series AAA Tip Chart

Tip code = spray angle (first digit × 10) + orifice (last two, thousandths). Every 36-series carbide tip fits the Bobcat, Cougar, and Bobcat Automatic guns and cross-references Kremlin™ MX / MVX. Each tip page carries the full size chart with the Kremlin™ cross-reference — standard and fine-finish (F) Opti-Tip versions available.

Reading a Tip Code

36-411 → 40° spray angle, 0.011” orifice, ~8” fan.

First digit ×10 = angle for part size; last two = orifice for material. Add -F for the fine-finish Opti-Tip.
