The 36-407 is the standard C.A. Technologies 36-series air-assist-airless fluid tip — a 0.007” carbide orifice at a 40° spray angle for an approximately 8” fan. Sized for ultra-fine detail and very thin materials.

Fluid delivery is approximately 5 oz/min at 1000 PSI on light materials. The carbide orifice resists wear from abrasive coatings, holding pattern shape and finish quality far longer than steel. It is the general-production workhorse at this size.

How do I read the tip number?

The first digit is the spray angle × 10 (4 → 40°); the last two digits are the orifice in thousandths of an inch (07 → 0.007”). So 36-407 sprays a 8” fan at 0.007”.

Will it fit my Kremlin™ gun?

Standard or fine-finish (F)?

This is the standard production tip. For the smoothest finish on show surfaces, the 36-407-F fine-finish Opti-Tip runs the same size.

A 36-100 tip screen behind the tip catches debris before the orifice and prevents spits — recommended on every tip change.
