The Packing Set For Agit Tanks seals the needle shaft on C.A. Technologies pressure tanks (full list below) — the packing that keeps paint out of the trigger mechanism while the needle strokes through it thousands of times a day.
A worn needle packing announces itself with paint creeping back along the needle toward the trigger. Snug the packing nut first; when adjustment runs out, replace the packing. Leaving it leaking gums the trigger action and eventually costs you the needle too.
