The Wagner Sprint 2 Expert H W is the premium hopper-fed manual powder coating system in the Sprint 2 family. It pairs the dedicated-color advantages of hopper feeding with every Expert-tier upgrade: 7-inch touchscreen with WAGNER Wizard coating assistant, integrated powder scale for consumption monitoring, process documentation with USB export, user management, and optional EtherCAT and COATIFY cloud connectivity. If your operation runs dedicated colors for extended production cycles and needs operator assistance, consumption tracking, or data traceability, this is the configuration to spec.

Premium Intelligence Meets Dedicated-Color Production
The Sprint 2 Expert H W is the hopper-feed configuration of Wagner’s premium Sprint 2 Expert platform, released in early 2025. It draws powder from a dedicated 60L or 25L stainless steel hopper (sold separately) instead of an original box — the right setup for longer production runs, higher daily throughput, and operations where powder cleanliness and reclaim quality matter. The “W” designation means it includes the integrated powder scale (weight cell) under the base plate for real-time consumption tracking.
The Expert brain adds the WACON Sprint 2 Expert 7-inch touchscreen with WAGNER Wizard (5-step guided recipe builder), process documentation with USB export, user management, error history, maintenance counters, and optional connections to EtherCAT, robotics, and the COATIFY cloud platform. All on top of the same PEM-X1 gun, Quick-Link injector, AFC, and DSO that define the standard Sprint 2.

In 5 steps — workpiece geometry, size, coating structure, desired thickness, and powder type — the Wizard calculates the ideal recipe and recommends the right nozzle, extension, and gun distance. Even an inexperienced operator can produce expert-quality results on the first attempt.

Intuitive Menu Navigation
Full touchscreen replaces the rotary knob of the standard Sprint 2. Recipe management, error history, operating hours, maintenance counters, and user management are all accessible from the screen.
POWDER SCALE
Consumption Monitoring
Integrated scale under the base plate tracks powder weight in real time. Automatically logs measuring points with the active user, selected recipe, and coating period — answering: who coated what, when, and how much powder did it take?
PROCESS DOCUMENTATION
USB Export & Cloud Ready
All process data exports as production or service logbooks via USB. Optional interfaces connect to EtherCAT, robotic systems, or the COATIFY platform for enterprise-level traceability.
AIRCLEAN KIT (OPTIONAL)
Automated Internal Cleaning
The optional Airclean kit (Part# 2477212) automates internal hose and gun cleaning with compressed air. The Airclean Remote (Part# 2481516) triggers cleaning from a magnetic-mount remote anywhere in the booth. Expert-exclusive — not available on the standard Sprint 2.

Sprint 2 Expert H W Common Questions
Why isn’t the hopper included?
Wagner lets shops match hopper capacity to production run length. A 25L hopper (264224) works for smaller runs, while a 60L hopper (264268) minimizes refilling on longer cycles. Both fit the same Expert H W cart. Not sure which size? Call CET at 586-210-0555.
Can I convert to box feed later?
What does the WAGNER Wizard actually do?
A 5-step guided recipe builder on the touchscreen. Select workpiece geometry (flat, tube, profile, small parts, mesh, grid, deep coating, wheel), size (S/M/L), coating structure, target thickness, and powder type. The Wizard calculates the ideal recipe and recommends the best nozzle, extension, and gun distance — especially valuable for shops with frequent operator turnover.
How does the powder scale work with a hopper?
The scale is built into the cart’s base plate. It weighs the hopper plus its powder and continuously logs weight drop over time against the active user, recipe, and coating period for precise per-job consumption data. Exports via USB or feeds into COATIFY if connected.
Same gun and injector as the standard Sprint 2 H?
What is COATIFY and do I need it?
COATIFY is Wagner’s cloud-based platform for centralized monitoring and reporting. Primarily relevant for multi-station operations or facilities with ISO/IATF traceability requirements. Most single-station shops can use USB export instead. Contact CET to discuss.
Compatible with my existing booth?
Yes. Self-contained mobile unit, works with any compliant manual powder booth with proper ventilation, grounding, and NFPA 33 compliance. CET can pair it with a GFS or equivalent booth for turnkey install.
