Description
DeVilbiss Advance HD Gravity Feed HVLP Spray Gun Kit with DeKups Adapter (ADV-G507-14-DPC)
The DeVilbiss Advance HD Gravity Feed HVLP Spray Gun Kit (ADV-G507-14-DPC) is a mid-sized industrial spray gun built for high-output finishing applications with HVLP compliant atomization and the convenience of the DeKups disposable cup system. This kit includes the Advance HD gravity-feed gun body with the No. 507 HVLP air cap, 1.4mm stainless steel fluid tip and needle, and a DeKups (DPC) adapter — ready for use with DeKups disposable cup liners for fast color changes with virtually zero cup cleanup between coats or colors.
What's in the Kit
The ADV-G507-14-DPC ships with the Advance HD gravity-feed gun body, No. 507 HVLP air cap, 1.4mm stainless steel fluid tip and needle, and DeKups (DPC) adapter. DeKups disposable cup liners and lids are sold separately. The gun features a 1/4" universal thread air inlet and a 3/8" universal thread fluid inlet (both accept BSP and NPS connectors). The DeKups adapter can be swapped for the standard 568mL gravity cup (GFC-501) or blue polyester gravity cup (GFC-511) at any time. Optional accessories include the stainless steel fluid filter kit (VSA-512) and tungsten carbide or hardened tips and needles for abrasive materials. Hardened and tungsten carbide options are available in the 1.4mm size.
DeKups Disposable Cup System
The DeKups system replaces the traditional reusable gravity cup with a disposable liner and rigid outer shell. When a color change is needed, the operator simply removes the used liner and drops in a fresh one — no cup cleaning, no solvent waste, no downtime. This system is ideal for operations that cycle through multiple colors per shift, custom color matching, small batch runs, and any environment where minimizing cleanup time and solvent use directly impacts productivity and profitability. Mixed material can be stored in sealed DeKups liners for later use, reducing material waste.
No. 507 HVLP Air Cap Performance
The No. 507 HVLP air cap operates at a recommended inlet pressure of 22 psi (1.5 bar) with an air consumption of 17.3 scfm (490 L/min) and produces a fan pattern of approximately 400mm (15.7"). The 507 is the high-capacity HVLP cap in the DeVilbiss compliant range — it delivers the widest fan pattern available in HVLP with high air volume for fast coverage on large surfaces, all while operating at 0.7 bar (10 psi) at the cap to meet HVLP compliance requirements. The 1.4mm fluid tip provides controlled mid-range fluid delivery that produces a high air-to-fluid ratio with the 507's wide fan, resulting in fine atomization and smooth film builds for finish topcoats, light enamels, sealers, lacquers, and medium-viscosity coatings.
Why Gravity Feed
Gravity-feed spray guns use a top-mounted cup that delivers material to the gun body by gravity. This format offers quick color changes, easy cleanup, and efficient material use — the cup drains completely with minimal waste. When paired with the DeKups adapter, the gravity-feed format becomes even faster to turn around between colors.

Built for High-Demand Industrial Finishing
The Advance HD achieves superior atomization through high-capacity air passages and a separate balanced air valve that provides unrestricted airflow through the gun body. The heavily anodized aluminum alloy construction is built for durability in demanding production environments. Stainless steel fluid tips, needles, and passageways come standard for compatibility with both solvent-based and waterborne materials. The gun is CE marked and fully ATEX approved for use in hazardous atmospheres.
Ergonomic Design for Reduced Operator Fatigue
The Advance HD features a contoured handle design that greatly reduces RSI and operator fatigue during extended spray sessions. Increased finger space, lighter trigger pull tension, reduced trigger travel, and a self-adjusting PTFE needle packing assembly all contribute to a gun that is comfortable to use shift after shift. The built-in air inlet adjuster "cheater" valve provides at-the-gun pressure control for quick adjustments without leaving the spray area.
