DeVilbiss PROLite Gravity HVLP Gun Kit with 900mL Cup (905040)
The DeVilbiss PROLite Gravity HVLP Gun Kit (905040) is a complete, ready-to-spray package for professional automotive refinish work. This kit includes the PROLite gravity-feed spray gun body with the HV30 HVLP air cap, 1.2mm and 1.3mm stainless steel fluid nozzles, matching fluid needle, HAV-555 air inlet adjustment valve with digital readout, and a 900mL aluminum gravity cup — everything needed to start spraying out of the box.
What's in the Kit
The 905040 ships with the PROLite gravity gun body, HV30 HVLP air cap and retaining ring, 1.2mm and 1.3mm stainless steel fluid nozzles, PROLite gravity fluid needle, HAV-555 digital air adjustment valve, and a 900mL aluminum gravity cup. The PROLite platform is also compatible with the 560mL Acetal gravity cup (905204), DeKups adapter (802200), and SNAP N FLOW adapter (803750) for additional cup system flexibility.
HV30 HVLP Air Cap Performance
The HV30 HVLP air cap operates at a recommended inlet pressure of 14–25 psi (1.0–1.75 bar) with a maximum air consumption of 15.5 scfm (440 SLPM) and produces a fan pattern of 11.5–12.5 inches (290–315mm). The 1.2mm nozzle suits lighter-viscosity basecoats and waterborne materials, while the 1.3mm handles standard-viscosity basecoats, single-stage finishes, and clearcoats. Both nozzles are compatible with all waterborne and solventborne automotive refinish coatings.
Built for Professional Spray Environments
The PROLite achieves superior atomization through high-capacity air passages and a linear air valve that delivers even, unrestricted airflow through the gun body. The result is consistent droplet distribution across the entire spray pattern. The drop-forged aluminum gun body features an anodized finish and removable air baffle for durability and easy maintenance. Stainless steel fluid nozzles and needle paired with a nickel-plated brass HV30 air cap ensure a long working life in demanding refinish environments.
Ergonomic Design and Transfer Efficiency
The ergonomic handle design with reduced trigger travel decreases operator fatigue during extended spray sessions. Environmental legislation-compliant atomization delivers high transfer efficiency for significant paint savings. In approval testing with paint company technicians over the last decade, the PROLite has consistently met the highest color match standards — ensuring the job gets done right the first time.
