The powder pressure regulator holds a set 6 bar working pressure for Wagner powder coating systems — stable air pressure is the base layer under every other powder setting.
Powder coating runs on clean, dry, oil-free air — one slug of moisture or compressor oil contaminates powder and shows up as craters and fisheyes in the cured film. Service the air-side parts on schedule and fix small leaks early; the air system is the cheapest place in the booth to prevent expensive rework.
