Description

DeVilbiss PROLite Pressure Feed HVLP & High Efficiency Gun Kit (905132)

The DeVilbiss PROLite Pressure Feed HVLP & High Efficiency Gun Kit (905132) is the most complete pressure-feed package in the PROLite lineup. This kit includes the PROLite pressure-feed spray gun body with both the HV40 HVLP and TE40 High Efficiency air caps, three stainless steel fluid nozzles (1.0mm, 1.2mm, and 1.4mm), and matching fluid needle — a dual air cap, triple nozzle configuration that covers every refinish material from a single gun.

What's in the Kit

The 905132 ships with the PROLite pressure-feed gun body, HV40 HVLP air cap and retaining ring, TE40 High Efficiency air cap and retaining ring, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, and 1.4mm stainless steel fluid nozzles, and PROLite pressure-feed fluid needle. The pressure-feed configuration connects to external fluid supply systems including pressure tanks, remote cups, and recirculating lines — giving painters the continuous material delivery needed for high-volume or large-panel work.

Dual Air Cap Versatility — HV40 and TE40

The HV40 HVLP air cap is the pressure-feed equivalent of the gravity HV30, delivering soft HVLP-compliant atomization for basecoat applications where regulatory compliance is required. The wider fan pattern and higher air volume provide excellent coverage on large panels and full-vehicle refinish work. The TE40 High Efficiency air cap is the pressure-feed counterpart to the gravity TE-series caps, offering efficient atomization at lower air consumption. The TE40 is ideal for clearcoat applications and environments where maximizing transfer efficiency and minimizing overspray are priorities. With three nozzle sizes, the 905132 handles the full range of automotive refinish materials. The 1.0mm nozzle is built for lighter-viscosity waterborne basecoats and thin-bodied coatings. The 1.2mm is a versatile mid-range size that bridges basecoat and clearcoat work. The 1.4mm is suited for standard clearcoats, single-stage finishes, and higher-solids materials that benefit from a larger fluid opening.

Why Pressure Feed

Pressure-feed spray guns deliver material from an external pressurized source rather than a gravity cup mounted on the gun. This configuration eliminates the weight of a full cup on top of the gun body, reducing operator fatigue on long spray sessions. It also enables continuous material supply without stopping to refill — a significant advantage on full-vehicle refinish jobs, fleet work, and high-throughput production environments. The PROLite pressure-feed body maintains the same high-capacity air passages and linear air valve as the gravity version for identical atomization quality.

Built for Professional Spray Environments

The PROLite achieves superior atomization through high-capacity air passages and a linear air valve that delivers even, unrestricted airflow through the gun body. The result is consistent droplet distribution across the entire spray pattern. The drop-forged aluminum gun body features an anodized finish and removable air baffle for durability and easy maintenance. Stainless steel fluid nozzles and needle paired with nickel-plated brass air caps ensure a long working life in demanding refinish environments.

Ergonomic Design and Transfer Efficiency

The ergonomic handle design with reduced trigger travel decreases operator fatigue during extended spray sessions. Environmental legislation-compliant atomization delivers high transfer efficiency for significant paint savings. In approval testing with paint company technicians over the last decade, the PROLite has consistently met the highest color match standards — ensuring the job gets done right the first time.
