The Material Nozzle, Series 100H, 1.7MM is the fluid nozzle for C.A. Technologies spray guns across the Lynx, Jaguar, Panther, AutoCAT and FE-Line lines (full list below) — it meters the paint flow and forms the fluid stream the air cap then atomizes. Nozzle size sets your flow rate for a given viscosity.
Fluid nozzles are wear parts, and abrasive or catalyzed materials eat them faster: the orifice slowly opens, flow creeps up, and the pattern goes heavy and wet-centered at your usual settings. If you keep dialing fluid DOWN to hold the same finish, the nozzle is telling you it is worn. Replace it together with its needle.
