The DeVilbiss GPG Gravity High Efficiency Gun Kit (905021) is a multi-purpose professional spray gun configured with the 7E7 High Efficiency air cap and two nozzle sizes for basecoat and clearcoat refinish applications. This kit includes the GPG gravity-feed gun body with the 7E7 High Efficiency air cap, 1.2mm and 1.3mm stainless steel fluid nozzles, multi-purpose fluid needle, and HAV-555 air inlet adjustment valve with digital readout. No cup is included — compatible with the 560mL Acetal gravity cup (905204), 900mL aluminum gravity cup (702576), and DeKups adapter (802200), all available separately.

What's in the Kit

The 905021 ships with the GPG gravity-feed gun body, 7E7 High Efficiency air cap and retaining ring (905226), 1.2mm fluid nozzle (905259), 1.3mm fluid nozzle (905260), multi-purpose fluid needle for 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4mm nozzles (905267), and HAV-555 digital air adjustment valve (803291). The gun features a 1/4" universal thread air inlet. Additional fluid nozzles are available separately in sizes from 1.4mm through 2.2mm for expanded application range. The GPG platform also accepts primer air caps (PR10, PR30), HVLP cap (GPG2), and conventional caps (C86, C30) — all sold separately — making it a truly multi-purpose gun body.

7E7 High Efficiency Air Cap Performance

The 7E7 High Efficiency air cap operates at a recommended inlet pressure of 16–22 psi (1.1–1.5 bar) with a maximum air consumption of 10.8 scfm (305 SLPM) and produces a fan pattern of 9.5–10.5 inches (240–265mm). The 7E7 is the most air-efficient multi-purpose cap in the GPG range — it delivers excellent atomization at the lowest air consumption available, making it ideal for shops with limited compressor capacity or multi-gun setups sharing a single air supply. The 1.2mm nozzle suits lighter-viscosity waterborne basecoats and thin materials, while the 1.3mm handles standard-viscosity basecoats and clearcoats. Together they cover the core basecoat and clearcoat range from a single gun setup.

905021 vs 905022 — What's the Difference?

The 905021 and 905022 are identical gun kits with the same 7E7 air cap, 1.2mm and 1.3mm nozzles, and HAV-555 gauge. The only difference is that the 905022 includes a 900mL aluminum gravity cup while the 905021 does not. Choose the 905021 if you already have a compatible cup, prefer a different cup size, or plan to use the DeKups disposable cup system.
