Description
DeVilbiss GPG Gravity High Efficiency Gun Kit with 900mL Cup (905020)
The DeVilbiss GPG Gravity High Efficiency Gun Kit (905020) is a multi-purpose professional spray gun configured with the 7E7 High Efficiency air cap and the two most popular mid-range nozzle sizes for basecoat and clearcoat refinish applications. This kit includes the GPG gravity-feed gun body with the 7E7 High Efficiency air cap, 1.3mm and 1.4mm stainless steel fluid nozzles, multi-purpose fluid needle, HAV-555 air inlet adjustment valve with digital readout, and a 900mL aluminum gravity cup — a complete ready-to-spray package covering the core basecoat and clearcoat range with air-efficient High Efficiency atomization.
What's in the Kit
The 905020 ships with the GPG gravity-feed gun body, 7E7 High Efficiency air cap and retaining ring (905226), 1.3mm fluid nozzle (905260), 1.4mm fluid nozzle (905261), multi-purpose fluid needle for 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4mm nozzles (905267), HAV-555 digital air adjustment valve (803291), and a 900mL aluminum gravity cup (702576). The gun features a 1/4" universal thread air inlet. Additional fluid nozzles are available separately in sizes from 1.2mm through 2.2mm for expanded application range. The GPG platform also accepts primer air caps (PR10, PR30), HVLP cap (GPG2), and conventional caps (C86, C30) — all sold separately.
7E7 High Efficiency Air Cap Performance
The 7E7 High Efficiency air cap operates at a recommended inlet pressure of 16–22 psi (1.1–1.5 bar) with a maximum air consumption of 10.8 scfm (305 SLPM) and produces a fan pattern of 9.5–10.5 inches (240–265mm). The 7E7 is the most air-efficient multi-purpose cap in the GPG range — it delivers excellent atomization at the lowest air consumption available, making it ideal for shops with limited compressor capacity or multi-gun setups sharing a single air supply. The 1.3mm and 1.4mm pairing is the most popular nozzle combination in the GPG High Efficiency lineup. The 1.3mm is the workhorse size for standard-viscosity basecoats and single-stage finishes. The 1.4mm handles clearcoats and heavier-bodied materials that benefit from a slightly larger fluid opening. Together they cover the most common basecoat and clearcoat applications from a single gun setup.
905020 vs 905019 — What's the Difference?
The 905020 and 905019 are identical gun kits with the same 7E7 air cap, 1.3mm and 1.4mm nozzles, and HAV-555 gauge. The only difference is that the 905020 includes a 900mL aluminum gravity cup while the 905019 does not. Choose the 905020 for a complete ready-to-spray package, or the 905019 if you already have a compatible cup, prefer a different cup size, or plan to use the DeKups disposable cup system.
