Description

DeVilbiss GPG Gravity HVLP Gun Kit with 560mL Cup (905013)

The DeVilbiss GPG Gravity HVLP Gun Kit (905013) is a multi-purpose professional spray gun configured with the GPG2 HVLP air cap and three nozzle sizes that span the full range from basecoats to sealers. This kit includes the GPG gravity-feed gun body with the GPG2 HVLP air cap, 1.3mm, 1.5mm, and 1.8mm stainless steel fluid nozzles, matching multi-purpose fluid needles, HAV-501 air inlet adjustment valve with analog readout, and a 560mL Acetal gravity cup — a versatile package that covers light-viscosity basecoats through medium-viscosity sealers and enamels without changing air caps.

What's in the Kit

The 905013 ships with the GPG gravity-feed gun body, GPG2 HVLP air cap and retaining ring (905230), 1.3mm fluid nozzle (905260), 1.5mm fluid nozzle (905261), 1.8mm fluid nozzle (905264), multi-purpose fluid needle for 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4mm nozzles (905267), multi-purpose fluid needle for 1.6 and 1.8mm nozzles (905268), HAV-501 analog air adjustment valve (180089), and a 560mL Acetal gravity cup (905204). The gun features a 1/4" universal thread air inlet. Additional fluid nozzles are available separately in sizes from 1.2mm through 2.2mm. The GPG platform also accepts high efficiency cap (7E7), primer air caps (PR10, PR30), and conventional caps (C86, C30) — all sold separately.

GPG2 HVLP Air Cap Performance

The GPG2 HVLP air cap operates at a recommended inlet pressure of 22–26 psi (1.5–1.8 bar) with a maximum air consumption of 15.9 scfm (450 SLPM) and produces a fan pattern of 11.5–12.0 inches (290–310mm). The GPG2 is the wide-fan HVLP cap in the GPG range — it delivers the broadest spray pattern with high air volume for fast coverage on large surfaces while maintaining HVLP-compliant atomization. The GPG2 supports the widest nozzle range of any multi-purpose cap in the GPG lineup, from 1.2mm through 2.2mm, making it the most versatile HVLP option for shops that spray a variety of materials. With three nozzle sizes included, the 905013 covers the broadest material range of any GPG2 kit. The 1.3mm suits standard-viscosity basecoats and single-stage finishes. The 1.5mm bridges the gap between basecoat/clearcoat work and heavier materials. The 1.8mm handles sealers, enamels, synthetics, and medium-viscosity coatings where higher fluid output is needed.

905013 vs 905012 — What's the Difference?

The 905013 and 905012 include the same GPG2 air cap and the same three nozzle sizes (1.3mm, 1.5mm, 1.8mm). The difference is the cup: the 905013 includes a 560mL Acetal gravity cup while the 905012 includes a 900mL aluminum gravity cup. Choose the 905013 when the lighter, smaller 560mL cup is preferred, or the 905012 when you need the larger 900mL capacity for bigger jobs.
