Description

DeVilbiss GPG Gravity HVLP Gun Kit with 900mL Cup (905014)

The DeVilbiss GPG Gravity HVLP Gun Kit (905014) is a multi-purpose professional spray gun configured with the GPG2 HVLP air cap and two large nozzle sizes for heavy-duty coating applications. This kit includes the GPG gravity-feed gun body with the GPG2 HVLP air cap, 1.8mm and 2.2mm stainless steel fluid nozzles, matching multi-purpose fluid needles, and a 900mL aluminum gravity cup. No gauge is included with this kit. The GPG2 cap's wide fan paired with the 1.8mm and 2.2mm nozzles delivers maximum fluid output with HVLP-compliant atomization — built for high-viscosity primers, heavy sealers, thick enamels, and any coating where fast material delivery and rapid coverage are the priority.

What's in the Kit

The 905014 ships with the GPG gravity-feed gun body, GPG2 HVLP air cap and retaining ring (905230), 1.8mm fluid nozzle (905264), 2.2mm fluid nozzle (905331), multi-purpose fluid needle for 1.6 and 1.8mm nozzles (905268), multi-purpose fluid needle for 2.0 and 2.2mm nozzles (905269), and a 900mL aluminum gravity cup (702576). The gun features a 1/4" universal thread air inlet. An HAV-555 digital air adjustment valve (803291) or HAV-501 analog valve (180089) can be purchased separately. Additional fluid nozzles are available separately in sizes from 1.2mm through 2.0mm. The GPG platform also accepts high efficiency cap (7E7), primer air caps (PR10, PR30), and conventional caps (C86, C30) — all sold separately.

GPG2 HVLP Air Cap Performance

The GPG2 HVLP air cap operates at a recommended inlet pressure of 22–26 psi (1.5–1.8 bar) with a maximum air consumption of 15.9 scfm (450 SLPM) and produces a fan pattern of 11.5–12.0 inches (290–310mm). The GPG2 is the wide-fan HVLP cap in the GPG range — it delivers the broadest spray pattern with high air volume for fast coverage on large surfaces while maintaining HVLP-compliant atomization. The GPG2 supports the widest nozzle range of any multi-purpose cap in the GPG lineup, from 1.2mm through 2.2mm. The 1.8mm nozzle handles medium to higher-viscosity materials including industrial enamels, sealers, synthetics, and standard-viscosity primers. The 2.2mm is the largest multi-purpose nozzle available for the GPG2 cap — it delivers maximum fluid output for the thickest, heaviest-bodied coatings where fast build-per-pass and rapid coverage are essential. Together, the 1.8mm and 2.2mm pairing covers the heavy end of the viscosity spectrum from a single gun setup.

905014 vs Other GPG2 Kits — What's the Difference?

The 905014 targets heavy-duty work with 1.8mm and 2.2mm nozzles. The 905012 spans a wider range with 1.3mm, 1.5mm, and 1.8mm nozzles. The 905016 focuses on basecoat/clearcoat with 1.3mm, 1.4mm, and 1.5mm nozzles. The 905013 matches the 905012 but with a 560mL cup. Choose the 905014 when your primary work involves heavy primers, thick sealers, enamels, and high-viscosity coatings. Note that for dedicated primer work with the PR10 and PR30 primer air caps, see the GPG primer kits (905026, 905027, 905028).

Built for Multi-Purpose Professional Refinishing
