HV30 HVLP Air Cap Performance

The HV30 HVLP air cap operates at a recommended inlet pressure of 14–25 psi (1.0–1.75 bar) with a maximum air consumption of 15.5 scfm (440 SLPM) and produces a fan pattern of 11.5–12.5 inches (290–315mm). The 1.3mm nozzle is the workhorse size for standard-viscosity basecoats and single-stage finishes, while the 1.4mm is built for heavier-bodied clearcoats and higher-solids materials that benefit from a larger fluid opening. Both nozzles are compatible with all waterborne and solventborne automotive refinish coatings.
