Overview

Built For
Corrosion Control.
Breaks Up Anything.

The C.A. Technologies Lynx 200C (L200C) is a pressure feed conventional sprayer purpose-built for corrosion control. It is engineered for spraying in harsh environments and has the break-up power to atomize heavy, high solid protective coatings that stall lesser guns.

Its 22-series air caps run at up to 80 PSI and 23 CFM — conventional atomization energy that shears zinc-rich primers, high solid epoxies, and marine coatings into a controlled, even pattern. Siphon-feed caps are available for thinner materials.

All stainless steel fluid passages and a forged aluminum body stand up to aggressive solvents and daily industrial use. CET stocks 14 factory configurations from 1.1mm to 2.8mm, plus repair kit 10-106 and every spare part. US made in Louisville, CO.

Why the L200C

Conventional Muscle for Protective Coatings

80 PSI Break-Up Power

The 22-2064 and 22-2765 caps run 22 CFM at 80 PSI — the atomization energy it takes to shear heavy high solid and zinc-rich coatings into an even, wrap-free pattern.

Made For Harsh Environments

Engineered for corrosion control work — shipyards, tanks, structural steel, field maintenance — where equipment gets abused and coatings are unforgiving.

All Stainless Fluid Passages

Aggressive solvents, catalyzed epoxies, and waterborne corrosion-control coatings pass through stainless only. No rusted passages, no contamination.

Pressure or Siphon

Nine factory air caps cover pressure feed for production output and siphon feed for thinner materials and smaller batches — one gun body covers both.

2.8mm Ultra-Heavy Capability

The 2.8mm × 2062 setup handles very heavy body coatings and adhesives that are beyond the reach of standard 1.8mm production guns.

Field-Serviceable

Repair kit 10-106 rebuilds the gun with all seals and packings — minutes of downtime, not days.

Setups shown are the factory chart from C.A. Technologies’ Lynx L200C sales literature. For intermittent or touch-up work a smaller compressor with recovery time between passes may be sufficient — call or text 586-210-0555 to confirm sizing before you order.

Air Supply

Lynx L200C Air Cap Chart

The 22-series caps are the muscle behind the 200C — pressure caps trade CFM for break-up power on heavy coatings; siphon caps run lighter materials at lower pressure. Click a part number to buy just the cap.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Lynx 200C best for?

Corrosion control and protective coating work: zinc-rich primers, high solid epoxies, marine and structural steel coatings, and adhesives. It is the conventional (non-HVLP) member of the Lynx 200 series, chosen when maximum break-up power on heavy materials matters more than transfer efficiency.

Should I choose a pressure or siphon air cap?

Pressure caps (2064, 2062, 2704, 2765, 2777, 2797) feed from a pressure cup or tank and deliver the CFM and inlet pressure needed for heavy high solid coatings. Siphon caps (2030, 2880, 2900) draw from a siphon cup and suit thinner materials and smaller batches. Call or text 586-210-0555 and CET will confirm.

What compressor does it need?

The production pressure caps draw 19 to 23 CFM at 70 to 80 PSI continuously — plan on a 5 HP two-stage compressor or larger for full-time spraying. The siphon caps run on 12 to 15 CFM. For intermittent work a smaller compressor with recovery time may suffice — call 586-210-0555 to confirm before ordering.

What does the T on the 2064T air cap mean?

The T suffix denotes a PTFE (Teflon) coated air cap. Coating build-up releases from the coated cap instead of bonding to it — the right choice for reactive coatings, 2K epoxies, and waterborne materials that cure on standard caps.

What repair kit does the L200C use?

Repair kit 10-106 — all seals, packings, and springs for a complete rebuild, per the factory schematics guide for the Lynx 200 series. The full exploded parts breakdown is on the Lynx 200C Spare Parts page.

Is there an HVLP version of this gun?

Yes — the Lynx 200H is the HVLP member of the 200 series: same corrosion-control mission and stainless passages, with HVLP-compliant atomization for jurisdictions and jobs that require it.
