When to Choose
PEA-X1 Basic F
The PEA-X1 Basic F is the standard automatic gun for general-purpose powder coating on reciprocator lines and automated systems. The flat spray nozzle delivers a wide, even fan pattern for consistent coverage on panels, enclosures, frames, and other predominantly flat workpieces.
If your line coats complex 3D shapes, consider the PEA-X1 Basic R (2430804) with deflector cones. For nylon powders, the positive cascade (2430805) is required.

X1 Nozzle Ecosystem
Same nozzles and accessories as the PEM-X1 manual gun. One accessory inventory across all X1 gun families.
Flat Spray Nozzles
F1 (2420243) included. Also compatible: standard flat X1 (2321976), cross spray 90° (2428515), angled 30°/45°/60°.
Round Spray Conversion
Add electrode holder R (2322490) + deflector cones (D18/D25/D34) to convert to round spray.
CoronaStar
CoronaStar (2322868) for smoother finishes with reduced orange peel. Streamlined profile minimizes powder accumulation for automatic blow-off during color change.
Angle Adapter 0–90°
X1 angle adapter (2431974) with mounting key and union nut 55mm. Extends reach behind flanges, into corners, and along edges at adjustable angles up to 90°.
Nozzle Extensions
VL 150, VL 300, VL 500, VL 750 — 150mm to 750mm reach into deep parts. Extensions include flat jet nozzle system.
Protective Wedge
Replacement wedge (2429695, white) — replaceable wearing part that protects the electrode holder. Swap instead of replacing the full holder.

PEA-X1 F vs. PEM-X1 flat spray?
Same 100kV cascade, same nozzle ecosystem, same 450 g/min. The PEA-X1 is the automatic version with IP54 protection, Powerlock color change, and automated mounting. The PEM-X1 is the hand-held manual version.
Can I add round spray later?
Yes. Same gun body. Add electrode holder R (2322490) and deflector cones (D25 recommended to start). Swap the front end without changing the gun body.
Is a gun cable included?
No. Gun cables are ordered separately based on your system layout: 0.5m (2442705), 2m (2470656), 5m (2419539), 10m (2419540), 20m (2419541). See the spare parts page for all cable options.
Can I retrofit my existing system?
Yes. The PEA-X1 is a drop-in replacement for previous-generation Wagner automatic guns. Contact CET at 586-210-0555 to confirm retrofit compatibility with your specific system.
Need to coat nylon powder?
The 2430803 uses a negative cascade — standard for organic powders. Nylon requires positive polarity. Choose the PEA-X1 Basic (+) Positive Cascade (2430805) instead.
