Description
Enamel powder coating application? CET provides application-specific configuration guidance for the PEA-X1E.
About the PEA-X1E
Optimized for
Enamel Powders
The PEA-X1E is the enamel-specific variant of the PEA-X1 automatic gun platform. Enamel powder coatings are heat-resistant formulations used on surfaces that must withstand sustained high temperatures — primarily appliance interiors, cookware, and industrial components exposed to extreme heat.
Enamel powders have different charging and flow characteristics than standard organic powders (polyester, epoxy, hybrid). The PEA-X1E is tuned for these specific properties to deliver homogeneous powder distribution and efficient electrostatic charging for consistent, high-quality enamel coatings.
Wagner operates a dedicated competence center for enamel coating (Wagner S.p.A., Valmadrera, Italy) and offers enamel-specific gun technology across their product lines. The PEA-X1E is the automatic gun component of that enamel ecosystem.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is enamel powder coating?
Enamel powder coatings are heat-resistant formulations designed for surfaces exposed to sustained high temperatures. They are distinct from standard organic powders (polyester, epoxy) and require specific application parameters for optimal results.
PEA-X1E vs. standard PEA-X1?
Same platform (545g, 100kV, IP54). The PEA-X1E is specifically optimized for enamel powder properties. For standard organic powders, use the PEA-X1 Basic F (2430803) or Basic R (2430804).
Same nozzles and accessories?
The PEA-X1E is part of the X1 family. Contact CET to confirm specific nozzle and accessory compatibility for your enamel application, as enamel powder properties may require specific configurations.
Is a gun cable included?
No. Choose from 0.5m, 2m, 5m, 10m, or 20m based on your system layout. Same cables as all PEA-X1 variants.
Can I retrofit existing systems?
The PEA-X1E uses the same mounting and cable interface as the standard PEA-X1. Contact CET at 586-210-0555 to confirm retrofit compatibility with your enamel coating line.
Where are spare parts?
PEA-X1 spare parts page covers the full platform. Contact CET for enamel-specific replacement part guidance.
