Important Note on Nozzle Compatibility
The PEA-X1 uses a new X1 nozzle ecosystem that is not backward-compatible with PEA-C4 nozzles, electrode holders, or CoronaStar sets. When retrofitting from C4 to X1, new nozzles and electrode holders are required. The upside: X1 nozzles are shared across the PEA-X1, PEM-X1 manual, and PER-X1 robot guns — consolidating your accessory inventory from three separate systems into one.

Common Questions
Is the PEA-C4 discontinued?
Yes. Wagner has discontinued the PEA-C4 HiCoat and replaced it with the PEA-X1 automatic gun family. The PEA-X1 is a direct retrofit replacement.
How hard is the retrofit?
Wagner designed the PEA-X1 as a drop-in replacement. Existing PEA-C4 systems can be retrofitted without major mechanical rework. New X1 nozzles and electrode holders are required. Contact CET for a system-specific retrofit plan.
Are C4 spare parts still available?
CET stocks remaining PEA-C4 spare parts while supplies last. As a discontinued product, parts availability will decline. Upgrading to PEA-X1 ensures long-term parts support through the actively produced X1 ecosystem.
Can I use my C4 nozzles on the X1?
No. The X1 nozzle system is not backward-compatible with C4 nozzles or electrode holders. New X1 components are required when retrofitting. The benefit: X1 nozzles work across PEA-X1, PEM-X1, and PER-X1 — one inventory for all three gun families.
