Important: Fluid tips, air caps, and spare parts are not interchangeable between DV1 variants. B-series tips will not work on a C-series gun, and neither will work on the DV1s. The DV1s uses two separate needle families (DV1-M and DV1-S). Always confirm you are ordering parts for the correct variant. Contact CET at 586-210-0555 to confirm.

Choose the DV1 Basecoat if… You need a primary spray gun for applying basecoats — metallics, pearls, solids, and waterborne systems. The DV1 Basecoat’s combination of balanced pattern distribution, reduced mottling, and digital pressure control makes it the daily-driver gun for production collision shops and refinishing specialists. Kit 704504 covers solvent and waterborne with three tips included. Kit 704528 is for shops fully committed to waterborne with a dedicated specialty cap. |
Choose the DV1 Clearcoat if… You are focused on the quality of the final clearcoat finish — Distinctness of Image, brilliance, and the mirror-like reflection that separates professional results from average ones. The DV1 Clearcoat’s optimized atomization produces uniformly fine particles that hang on vertical panels without sagging. Kit 704521 is the only kit you need — both the C1+ and C2+ caps are included. Try both with your clearcoat brand and keep the setup you prefer. |
Choose the DV1s Repair if… You specialize in spot repair, PDR work, or small area refinishing where a full-size gun is too much gun. The DV1s lineup covers everything from 2.4” stone chip micro repairs (Kit 704531) to 7.9” door panel spot repairs (Kit 704532), with a third option for concentrated atomization (Kit 704533). The DV1s is a completely different platform from the B and C guns. All spare parts are S-series specific. |
