The DeVilbiss DV1s Smart/Spot Repair brings DV1 atomization engineering to the spot repair workflow. The DV1s features three all-new air caps delivering superior high-efficiency performance for a perfect invisible repair finish — available in three kit configurations spanning micro spot work up to standard panel repairs.

The DV1s is a distinctly different gun platform from the DV1 Basecoat and DV1 Clearcoat. It uses its own specific spare parts, service kits, fluid tips, and needles. Two needle families are used across the DV1s lineup: the DV1-M Needle (704460) for Micro tips and the DV1-S Needle (704459) for S-series tips. All three kits include the 125ml acetal cup — sized for the small material volumes used in spot repair work.

An 0.8mm DV1-S tip (704456) is available separately and is compatible with the DV1-S1+ and DV1-S2 air caps. It is not included in any kit. All S-series spare parts and service kits are shared between the 704532 and 704533 kits.

Three Dedicated Repair Air Caps The DV1-M1 Micro (2.4”), DV1-S1+ (7.9”), and DV1-S2 (7.1”) are engineered specifically for spot repair applications — delivering consistent, homogeneous spray patterns for flawless right-first-time results at each repair scale.
Fluid Tips Matched to Air Caps The DV1s fluid tip design matches optimum fluid flow while stabilizing air flow — minimizing material usage and providing significant paint savings on every repair. M-series tips for Micro; S-series tips for S1+ and S2.
125ml Acetal Cup — All Three Kits All three DV1s kits include the 125ml (4 oz) acetal cup sized for spot repair material volumes — minimizing waste and keeping the gun light and maneuverable during precision work.
S-Series Parts — Separate from B & C The DV1s uses its own specific spare parts platform. Service kits (704475 Minor, 704476 Major), air valve (704471), spray head (704462), and packing kit (905294) are all S-series specific. Do not use DV1-B or DV1-C parts on this gun.

Which DV1s Kit Is Right for You?

Choose 704531 (Micro) if…

You specialize in stone chip repairs, micro blemishes, and small touch-up work where maximum precision and overspray control are critical. The 2.4” pattern and 0.7/0.9mm tips are purpose-built for the smallest repair applications.

Choose 704532 (S1+) if…

You do spot repairs on door panels, quarter panels, and medium repair areas where 7.9” fan coverage per pass is more efficient. The S1+ is the widest standard repair pattern in the DV1s lineup at 4.1 SCFM.

Choose 704533 (S2) if…

You prefer a more concentrated, higher air volume atomization for spot repair — particularly for contoured surfaces, door jambs, and repairs where a denser fan gives you better blending control. Same tips as 704532, different cap.

Critical: Two separate needle families

M-series tips (0.7, 0.9mm) require the DV1-M Needle (704460). S-series tips (0.8, 1.0, 1.2mm) require the DV1-S Needle (704459). They are not interchangeable. Always confirm the correct needle when ordering replacements.
