Important: Fluid tips, air caps, and spare parts are not interchangeable between DV1 variants. B-series tips will not work on a C-series gun, and neither will work on the DV1s. The DV1s uses two separate needle families (DV1-M and DV1-S). Always confirm you are ordering parts for the correct variant. Contact CET at 586-210-0555 to confirm.
Decision Guide
Choose the DV1 Basecoat if…
You need a primary spray gun for applying basecoats — metallics, pearls, solids, and waterborne systems. The DV1 Basecoat’s combination of balanced pattern distribution, reduced mottling, and digital pressure control makes it the daily-driver gun for production collision shops.
Kit 704504 covers solvent and waterborne with three tips. Kit 704528 is for dedicated waterborne shops.
Choose the DV1 Clearcoat if…
You are focused on the quality of the final clearcoat finish — DOI, brilliance, and the mirror-like reflection that separates professional results. Optimized atomization produces uniformly fine particles that hang on vertical panels without sagging.
Kit 704521 includes both C1+ and C2+ caps. Try both with your clearcoat brand.
Choose the DV1s Repair if…
You specialize in spot repair, PDR work, or small area refinishing. The DV1s covers 2.4” micro repairs (704531) to 7.9” panel repairs (704532), with a concentrated option (704533).
The DV1s is a completely different platform. All spare parts are S-series specific.
