Permacron 1K Clear Coat 8560 is tinted with Permacron Brilliant Mixing Tint MB 713 red to produce a brilliant effect coating in combination with Permacron Brilliant Base Coat 297. This guide provides detailed spray gun setup recommendations to ensure optimal application results for spot repairs and blending applications.

Spray Gun Setup Recommendations:

For compliant spray guns, use a 1.3 - 1.4 mm nozzle with a spray pressure of 2 - 2.5 bar.

For HVLP spray guns, use a 1.3 - 1.4 mm nozzle with an atomising pressure of 0.7 bar.

Application Process:

  1. Apply one coat to the area to be blended into the next part (to match the color) or to the blending area around the spot repair.
  2. Apply a full coat of Permacron® Base Coat 293/295 to the surfacer area while the film is still wet.
  3. Finally, apply a dust coat to the overlap at reduced pressure (1 - 1.5 bar).
