The gun features a 1/4" universal thread air inlet and a 3/8" universal thread fluid inlet (both accept BSP and NPS connectors). Optional accessories include the blue polyester gravity cup for difficult fluids (GFC-511), DeKups disposable cup adapter, stainless steel fluid filter kit (VSA-512), and tungsten carbide or hardened tips and needles for abrasive materials. The 1.4mm fluid tip produces a high air-to-fluid ratio with the 506's focused fan, resulting in fine atomization and controlled film builds. The more compact 305mm pattern provides precise material placement that is well-suited for smaller parts, narrower surfaces, detail work, and applications where the 507's wide 400mm fan would create unnecessary overspray. This configuration excels on finish topcoats, light enamels, sealers, lacquers, and medium-viscosity coatings where surface quality matters most.
