The FE-Line Fine Finish (FEFF) is C.A. Technologies' lightweight ergonomic HVLP pressure feed spray gun, designed around the technology of the CAT SLP. The 1.7mm setup (FEFF-17-1317) pairs the 23-1317 air cap with the 33-0217 fluid tip and 40-1817 needle — the largest orifice in the FEFF lineup and the recommended configuration for heavy materials including sealers, primers, wash primers, and epoxies. The 1.7mm setup delivers the high fluid volume these materials demand while the FEFF's patented 12 Point Plenum design keeps atomization consistent and pattern coverage uniform.
The FEFF's patented 12 Point Plenum design creates a more balanced, even cone of air as fluid is atomized — producing more uniform particles and a flatter, more consistent finish compared to conventional HVLP designs. Combined with all stainless steel fluid passages, a 15 oz. lightweight body, and 65% transfer efficiency or better, the FE-Line Fine Finish is built for operators who demand professional results with every pass.

Most HVLP guns rely on a standard air diffusion ring that creates uneven high and low pressure spikes around the fluid stream — resulting in inconsistent particle sizes and finishes. The FE-Line Fine Finish solves this with its patented 12 Point Balanced Plenum design, which distributes air evenly across all 12 points as the fluid is atomized.
