Description
C.A. Technologies Lynx 100C Conventional Spray Gun — 1.5mm / 21-2366 Siphon Setup (L100C-15-2366)
100 Series Conventional General Purpose | US Made
The Lynx 100C (L100C) is C.A. Technologies' high quality general purpose conventional spray gun, available in both pressure and siphon feed configurations. The L100C-15-2366 setup pairs the 31-0615 fluid nozzle (1.5mm) with the 21-2366 siphon air cap — delivering 12 CFM and a wide 14" pattern at 50 PSI. This is the medium-body siphon configuration to reach for when the 10" pattern of the 21-2266 is too narrow for your application but you don't need the higher air draw of the 21-2466.
At a Glance
- Feed type: Siphon feed
- Best material types: Medium body enamels, urethanes, epoxy primers, and sealers at moderate viscosity — materials that flow freely through a 1.5mm tip from a siphon cup
- Air use: 12 CFM @ 50 PSI — moderate compressor requirement, same air draw as the 21-2266
- Pattern size: 14" — wider than the 21-2266's 10" and better suited for panels, doors, and flat work
- Why choose this setup: When you want the 1.5mm fluid volume of the 21-2266 family but need a wider fan to cover panels and flat surfaces more efficiently without stepping up to the 15 CFM of the 21-2466
- Key included components: 31-0615 fluid nozzle, 40-1115 needle, 21-2366 air cap, 60-1500 fan control assembly

Best for This Setup
The L100C-15-2366 is the wide-pattern counterpart to the L100C-15-2266 — same 1.5mm orifice and 12 CFM air draw, but the 21-2366 opens the fan to a 14" pattern that covers panels, doors, and flat work considerably faster than the 10" 21-2266 allows. This setup is the practical choice for woodworking and cabinet shops spraying medium-body urethanes and sealers over large flat panels, or for industrial operations finishing metal panels with medium-viscosity enamels where pattern width directly affects cycle time. The 12 CFM air draw keeps the compressor demand identical to the 21-2266 while delivering 40% more pattern width per pass — a meaningful efficiency gain on flat surfaces without any increase in air consumption. If you find yourself overlapping excessively with the L100C-15-2266 to build coverage on large panels, the L100C-15-2366 solves that directly without requiring you to step up to the 15 CFM of the 21-2466 series.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the L100C-15-2366 best for?
- Medium body enamels, urethanes, epoxy primers, and sealers on large flat surfaces including panels, doors, and millwork where a 14" pattern delivers better coverage efficiency than a 10" fan. The 1.5mm orifice handles medium-viscosity materials freely from a siphon cup at 12 CFM.
- Is the L100C-15-2366 siphon or pressure feed?
- Siphon feed. The 21-2366 is a siphon air cap, drawing material up from a siphon cup or siphon tank. For pressure feed applications at similar fluid volume, see the 21-2263 and 21-2266-3 pressure setups.
- What air cap does the L100C-15-2366 use?
- The 21-2366 siphon air cap — 12 CFM at 50 PSI, 14" maximum fan pattern. Compatible with 0.6mm through 1.8mm fluid tips.
- What fluid nozzle and needle does this setup use?
- The 31-0615 fluid nozzle (1.5mm / .059") paired with the 40-1115 needle (marked 115). The same 115 needle is used across all 1.5mm and 1.8mm Lynx 100C setups.
- What repair kit fits the Lynx 100C?
- Repair kit 10-106 covers all Lynx 100C configurations. It includes all wear seals, o-rings, springs, and needle seal components needed for a full gun rebuild.
- Where can I find the full parts list and assembly diagram?
- The complete Lynx 100C parts manual — including the full exploded parts diagram, air cap selection chart, and nozzle selection guide — is available for download from the CET manual page linked below.
