Description
C.A. Technologies Lynx 100C Conventional Spray Gun — 1.8mm / 21-1590 Siphon Setup (L100C-18-1590)
100 Series Conventional General Purpose | US Made
The Lynx 100C (L100C) is C.A. Technologies' high quality general purpose conventional spray gun, available in both pressure and siphon feed configurations. The L100C-18-1590 setup pairs the 31-0618 fluid nozzle (1.8mm) with the 21-1590 siphon air cap — a low-CFM configuration that delivers the fluid volume of a 1.8mm orifice at significantly reduced air consumption, making it well suited for operators working in restricted air supply environments or applications where reduced atomization pressure is required to prevent overspray or material disturbance on sensitive substrates.
Built with a forged aluminum body and all stainless steel fluid passages, the Lynx 100C delivers conventional air spray dependability across a wide range of coatings and industries. Its broad air cap selection — covering siphon feed, pressure feed, and internal mix configurations — makes it one of the most versatile conventional spray guns in the C.A. Technologies lineup.

Best for This Setup
The L100C-18-1590 is the right choice when you need the fluid volume of a 1.8mm orifice but your air supply is limited or your application calls for reduced atomization pressure. The 21-1590 is a low-CFM siphon air cap — unlike the high-output 21-2466 (15 CFM) or 21-2366 (12 CFM), the 1590 series operates at significantly lower air consumption, making it practical for smaller shop compressors, portable setups, or environments where multiple operators share a single air line. This configuration is also used when spraying materials onto sensitive or lightweight substrates where higher air velocity would disturb the wet film or cause excessive bounce-back. The 1.8mm stainless nozzle ensures you're not sacrificing fluid delivery — heavier body enamels, epoxy primers, and urethane coatings flow freely — while the lower-CFM air cap keeps atomization gentle and air draw manageable. If you've been running a higher-CFM setup and struggling with compressor recovery time or pattern blowout on lighter substrates, the L100C-18-1590 is worth evaluating as a lower-demand alternative.
