Description
C.A. Technologies Lynx 100C Conventional Spray Gun — 1.8mm Carbide / 21-2466 Siphon Setup (L100C-18V-2466)
100 Series Conventional General Purpose | Carbide Fluid Nozzle | US Made
The Lynx 100C (L100C) is C.A. Technologies' high quality general purpose conventional spray gun, available in both pressure and siphon feed configurations. The L100C-18V-2466 setup pairs the 31-0618V carbide fluid nozzle (1.8mm) and 40-6201 carbide needle with the 21-2466 siphon air cap — delivering 15 CFM and a 13" pattern at 50 PSI. The carbide fluid path makes this the purpose-built configuration for abrasive and particle-laden coatings that would rapidly wear a standard stainless steel nozzle and needle.
Built with a forged aluminum body and all stainless steel fluid passages, the Lynx 100C delivers conventional air spray dependability across a wide range of coatings and industries. Its broad air cap selection — covering siphon feed, pressure feed, and internal mix configurations — makes it one of the most versatile conventional spray guns in the C.A. Technologies lineup.

Best for This Setup
The L100C-18V-2466 is the right choice when your coating contains abrasive particles, metallic fillers, or solid content that would quickly erode a standard 17-4PH stainless steel nozzle and needle. Carbide is significantly harder than stainless steel, dramatically extending service life in applications like filled high-build primers, metallic and pearl coatings with coarse particle sizes, abrasive wood stains containing silica or aluminum oxide, and ceramic or anti-corrosion coatings with solid particulate. If you're experiencing premature tip wear or pattern degradation after relatively short run times with a standard nozzle, switching to the 31-0618V carbide nozzle and 40-6201 carbide needle is the correct solution. The 21-2466 siphon air cap's 15 CFM output and 13" pattern width make it well matched to medium-to-heavy body abrasive materials where higher fluid volume is needed to maintain a consistent wet film.
