About the CAT-Xpress Spray Gun
The CAT-Xpress spray gun offers both a pressure reduced air cap and an HVLP air cap for shops that need flexibility across different coating applications and compliance requirements.
- 2403218 and 2403224 are pressure reduced air caps and consume 9 CFM at 29 PSI gun inlet
- 2403233 and 2403235 are HVLP air caps and consume 9 CFM at 26 PSI gun inlet
- 2403218 / 2403233 can be used with 0.8 mm to 1.8 mm orifices
- 2403224 / 2403235 can be used with 2.0 mm to 2.2 mm orifices
Actual fluid nozzle and air cap combinations are determined by the application. Gun inlet pressures may vary as required by the material and setup.
Operation & Maintenance Notes
- Connect the air supply hose at the handle of the gun.
- Connect a pressurized fluid supply to the gun fluid inlet.
- Use the fluid control knob to fine tune flow rate by limiting needle travel.
- Adjust fan width with the fan control knob. Turning clockwise narrows the fan.
- Routine cleaning and maintenance are essential for proper gun performance.
- Have repair kit 2411779 available before gun disassembly.
