Overview

B413 Output.
12” Large Panel Coverage.

The Bobcat B613 is the large-panel counterpart to the most popular configuration in the Bobcat lineup — the same proven 0.013” orifice as the B413, opened to 60° for a 12” pattern. It delivers ~17 oz/min at 1000 PSI with the maximum practical coverage width for large flat production work before moving to the 70° group.

The B413 handles the broadest range of medium production coatings at 8”. The B513 extended that same orifice to 10”. The B613 extends it to 12” — the right choice when your panels are large enough that each additional inch of fan width meaningfully reduces total passes per part and total cycle time per piece. Large cabinet doors, wide furniture panels, full-sheet wood and metal substrates, and high-throughput flat panel lines where production lacquers, conversion varnishes, or medium-viscosity industrial coatings are the standard.

Switching from B413 or B513 to the B613 requires no pressure or air adjustment on the same material. The 60° angle changes only fan width. Call or text 586-210-0555 to confirm the right angle for your substrate before ordering.

Why This Configuration?

Proven 0.013” Orifice.
Maximum Flat Panel Width.

Large Flat Panel & Door Production Full-size cabinet doors, large furniture panels, wide shelving, and full-sheet flat work where medium production coatings at 0.013” run well and 12” fan width maximizes coverage efficiency per pass.
High-Volume Flat Panel Lines Production finishing lines running large quantities of flat panels where every reduction in passes per part drives meaningful throughput improvement — the B613’s 12” fan is 50% wider per pass than the B413’s 8”.
B413 or B513 Users on Larger Work Operations already running B413 or B513 that have moved to larger panel work — same material, same pressure, same air settings. Swap the tip, gain width per pass, no other changes needed.
Wide Metal Sheet & Structural Panel Work Wide metal panels, sheet stock, and structural flat components where medium industrial coatings at 0.013” need maximum flat panel coverage efficiency without moving to a heavier orifice.

Configuration Detail

B613 — At a Glance

Fluid Tip

36-613

0.013” orifice · 60° angle · ~12” pattern

Same proven 0.013” orifice as the B413 and B513 at a wider 60° angle — ~17 oz/min at 1000 PSI with 12” coverage for medium production coatings on large flat panels. Field-replaceable tip.

Air Cap

26-101

AAA HVLP air cap · ≤18 PSI at handle

Same air cap as all Bobcat configurations. The 60° tip geometry controls fan width; the air cap refines atomization independently. B413 and B513 settings carry directly to B613 on the same material.

Gun Type

AAA

Air Assist Airless · 1500 PSI max

Requires AAA pump (e.g., Peak 14:1). Pressure settings from the B413 or B513 carry directly to the B613 on the same material — the 60° angle does not affect fluid pressure requirements.

Other 0.013” Configurations — Same Orifice, Different Spray Angle

ModelAnglePatternBest For
B213 20° 4” Tight spaces, very narrow substrates
B313 30° 6” Narrow components & profiles
B413 40° 8” Most popular — medium production at 8”
B513 50° 10” Medium production on flat & mid-size panels
B613 ← Current 60° 12” Medium production on large flat panels

Choose B613 when the B413 orifice is right and your panels are large enough to benefit from 12” coverage. Step down to B513 for 10” on mid-size panels. Call or text 586-210-0555 to confirm the right angle for your substrate width.

Material Viscosity Range

Very Thin Thin Medium Medium-Heavy Ultra-Heavy
Who uses this daily Large-scale cabinet shops and furniture manufacturers running high-volume flat panel production with production lacquers, conversion varnishes, and medium-viscosity topcoats; industrial finishing lines where large flat panels and sheet stock need maximum fan width at the 0.013” orifice
B613 vs B513 vs B413 All three use the same 0.013” orifice and deliver ~17 oz/min at 1000 PSI. B413 = 40° — 8” for components and narrower panels. B513 = 50° — 10” for mid-size flat panels. B613 = 60° — 12” for large flat panels. No pressure adjustment needed when switching on the same material.
Fluid pressure guidance Same settings as B413 and B513 — start at 400–600 PSI, increase until pattern is consistent. Medium production coatings at 0.013” typically run at 600–900 PSI. The 60° angle does not change pressure requirements. Do not exceed 1500 PSI.
Compressor sizing Gun draws 6 CFM — most 1.5–3 HP single-stage compressors cover this comfortably. Add pump CFM for total system requirement. Call 586-210-0555 to confirm before ordering.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How does B613 compare to B513 and B413?

All three use the identical 0.013” orifice and deliver ~17 oz/min at the same pressure. B413 = 40° for 8” — components and narrower panels. B513 = 50° for 10” — mid-size flat panels. B613 = 60° for 12” — large flat panels. The B613’s 12” fan is 50% wider per pass than the B413. No pressure adjustment needed when switching between any of them on the same material.

Can I carry over my B413 settings to the B613?

Yes — fluid pressure and air pressure settings transfer directly from B413 or B513 to B613 when spraying the same material. The 60° angle changes only fan geometry. Swap the tip and pick up 4” more coverage per pass compared to the B413, with no other adjustments needed.

Should I keep B413, B513, and B613 on hand?

Many high-volume shops do exactly this. All three use the same 0.013” orifice on the same gun body, air cap, and pressure settings. Swapping between tips lets you match fan width to substrate width instantly — no pump or pressure changes needed when spraying the same material on different substrate sizes.

What about a heavier material at 12” fan width?

The B615 uses 0.015” at 60° for 12” at ~22 oz/min, and the B619 uses 0.019” at 60° for 12” at ~36 oz/min. All three share the same 60° angle and 12” fan. Call or text 586-210-0555 to confirm the right orifice for your material viscosity.

What repair kit does the Bobcat use?

10-137 covers routine maintenance — all o-rings and the seat. 10-138 is the complete kit adding the air valve assembly and needle seal cartridge. CET stocks both for same-day shipment. Most in-stock orders ship same day — stocked at C.A. Technologies’ Colorado facility.
