Overview

Maximum 60° Output.
Thickest Materials at 12”.

The Bobcat B621 is the largest orifice in the 60° group and the highest-output configuration in the Bobcat lineup at the 12” fan width — a 0.021” orifice delivering approximately 45 oz/min at 1000 PSI. It’s built for the thickest materials the Bobcat system handles: ultra-heavy industrial primers, very high-solid coatings, thick structural finishes, and heavy-body industrial materials that require maximum orifice size for consistent fluid delivery at production rates on large flat surfaces.

At ~45 oz/min, the B621 delivers the most fluid of any 60° Bobcat configuration — 64% more than the B615 at 0.015” and 25% more than the B619 at 0.019”, all at the same 12” fan width. This is the tip for operations where material viscosity has pushed past what the B619 handles optimally and a further orifice step is needed without changing fan angle or substrate coverage geometry.

CET recommends calling before ordering the B621 — at 0.021”, material and pump system compatibility are important to verify. Call or text 586-210-0555 with your material, pump, and current tip configuration and we’ll confirm before you order.

Why This Configuration?

Peak Fluid Delivery.
Large Panel Coverage.

Ultra-Heavy Industrial Primers & High-Build Coatings The thickest industrial primers, ultra-high-build fill coatings, and maximum-viscosity industrial finishes on large flat panels where the B619 at 0.019” is no longer sufficient for consistent fluid delivery at production rates.
Very High-Solid Content Coatings Very high-solid industrial coatings with elevated viscosity that require a 0.021” orifice for consistent flow and atomization — the tip that closes out the Bobcat orifice range at the 60° angle.
Step Up from B619 on Heaviest Materials Operations running B619 at 0.019” where material viscosity at production rates has moved beyond what that orifice handles consistently — the B621 is the next step up at the same 60° angle and 12” fan.
Confirm Before Ordering The B621 is among the most specialized configurations in the Bobcat lineup. CET recommends calling before ordering to confirm that your material viscosity, pump system, and application require 0.021” at 60°. Call or text 586-210-0555.

Configuration Detail

B621 — At a Glance

Fluid Tip

36-621

0.021” orifice · 60° angle · ~12” pattern

Largest orifice in the 60° Bobcat group — ~45 oz/min at 1000 PSI for the thickest materials on large flat panels. Maximum output in the 12” fan configuration. Field-replaceable tip. Confirm with CET before ordering.

Air Cap

26-101

AAA HVLP air cap · ≤18 PSI at handle

Same air cap as all Bobcat configurations. At 0.021” with very heavy materials, the AAA air assist provides meaningful atomization refinement over pure airless at comparable fluid pressure.

Gun Type

AAA

Air Assist Airless · 1500 PSI max

Requires AAA pump (e.g., Peak 14:1). Very heavy materials at 0.021” typically operate at higher fluid pressure. Start at 600–800 PSI and increase until atomization is consistent. Do not exceed 1500 PSI.

Other 60° Configurations — Same Angle, Different Orifice

ModelOrificeFlow @ 1000 PSIBest For
B611 0.011” ~13 oz/min Fine lacquers & topcoats on large flat panels
B613 0.013” ~17 oz/min Medium production on large flat panels
B615 0.015” ~22 oz/min Industrial primers, medium-body coatings
B619 0.019” ~36 oz/min Heavy primers & high-solid coatings on large panels
B621 ← Current 0.021” ~45 oz/min Maximum output — thickest materials at 12”

B621 is the highest-output 60° configuration. If B619 at 0.019” is delivering enough fluid for your material, stay with B619. The B621 is the right choice only when material viscosity requires the largest practical orifice at this fan angle. Call or text 586-210-0555 to confirm before ordering.

CET Application Guide

Material Viscosity Range

Very Thin Thin Medium Heavy Ultra-Heavy
Who uses this daily Industrial finishers running the thickest practical coatings through the Bobcat AAA system on large flat panels — ultra-heavy industrial primers, very high-solid epoxy and urethane coatings, and maximum-viscosity structural finishes where 0.021” is required for consistent production delivery
Fluid pressure guidance Start at 600–800 PSI. Very heavy materials at 0.021” typically require 900–1300 PSI for consistent atomization. Increase gradually until the pattern is fully formed. Do not exceed 1500 PSI. Call 586-210-0555 to discuss pressure requirements for your specific material before ordering.
B621 vs B619 Both use 60° for a 12” fan. B619 = 0.019” at ~36 oz/min. B621 = 0.021” at ~45 oz/min. Same fan width, more fluid delivery. Step up to B621 only when B619 is consistently under-delivering for your material viscosity at production rates. Call 586-210-0555 before ordering — we’ll confirm this is the right step.
Compressor sizing Gun draws 6 CFM — most 1.5–3 HP single-stage compressors cover this comfortably. At 0.021” with very heavy materials, pump system capacity is a key consideration. Call 586-210-0555 to discuss your full system setup before ordering.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I step up to B621 from B619?

Step up to B621 when your material at B619 (0.019”) shows inconsistent atomization or insufficient throughput that increasing fluid pressure alone doesn’t resolve. At ~45 oz/min vs ~36 oz/min, the difference is significant — this is a tip for the thickest practical coatings through the Bobcat system. Call or text 586-210-0555 before ordering; we’ll confirm this is the right step for your material.

What is the difference between B621 and B619?

Both use 60° for a 12” fan — same angle, same coverage width. B619 = 0.019” at ~36 oz/min. B621 = 0.021” at ~45 oz/min. The B621 delivers 25% more fluid per minute at the same pressure settings, for materials that are too viscous to flow consistently through the B619 at production rates.

Is there a 0.021” tip with a wider fan?

Yes — the B721 uses 0.021” at 70° for a 14” fan — same orifice, same ~45 oz/min delivery, wider pattern. If your panels are large enough that 14” coverage is more efficient, the B721 is the right choice. Call or text 586-210-0555 to confirm.

What fluid pressure is needed for very heavy materials at 0.021”?

Very heavy materials at 0.021” typically require 900–1300 PSI for consistent atomization. Start at 600–800 PSI and increase gradually until the pattern is fully formed and consistent. Do not exceed 1500 PSI. If atomization is inconsistent even at high pressure, call 586-210-0555 — it may indicate a pump or system issue rather than a tip issue.

What repair kit does the Bobcat use?

10-137 covers routine maintenance — all o-rings and the seat. 10-138 is the complete kit adding the air valve assembly and needle seal cartridge. CET stocks both for same-day shipment. Most in-stock orders ship same day — stocked at C.A. Technologies’ Colorado facility.

Where can I find the Bobcat parts manual?
