Overview

The Only Conventional Gun
Built for Adhesives.

The C.A. Technologies Panther 100G (P100G) is a PTFE hard coat conventional spray gun engineered specifically for adhesive and industrial coating applications where standard aluminum gun bodies foul, clog, and fail prematurely.

The PTFE hard coat on both the gun body and air cap prevents adhesive from bonding to contact surfaces — dramatically reducing cleanup time between runs. All stainless steel fluid passages provide full chemical resistance to solvent-based adhesives, contact cements, waterborne formulations, and aggressive industrial coatings.

Available in 19 CET Verified configurations spanning pressure feed, siphon feed, and the only waterborne adhesive anti-shear setup in the lineup — from 1.0mm thin sealers to 2.8mm ultra-heavy contact cements. US made in Louisville, CO.

Why the P100G

Built Different From the Ground Up

PTFE Hard Coat Body & Air Cap

Prevents adhesive from bonding to both contact surfaces. Wipe clean instead of soak and scrub. The single biggest quality-of-life difference vs. a standard gun in adhesive work.

All Stainless Steel Fluid Passages

Full chemical resistance to solvent-based contact cements, waterborne adhesives, and aggressive industrial coatings. No corrosion or fluid passage degradation in extended production use.

Heavy Duty Needle Spring

Consistent trigger response and reliable needle return under the higher fluid resistance of thick contact cements and heavy adhesives. Built for production, not occasional use.

Waterborne Anti-Shear Config

The only P100G setup (P100G-18-1590) designed for waterborne adhesives — anti-shear internal mix atomizes water-based contact cements without degrading bond strength.

Carbide Nozzle Options

1.8mm, 2.2mm, and 2.8mm carbide nozzles available for abrasive or particle-laden adhesive formulations that would prematurely wear a stainless nozzle.

19 Verified Configurations

Pressure, siphon, and waterborne setups from 1.0mm to 2.8mm. One platform covers the full adhesive and industrial coating application range. CET verified every setup.

Pressure vs Siphon: Pressure feed pushes material to the gun under regulated air pressure — more consistent flow on heavier materials and at higher production volumes. Siphon feed draws material from a cup using venturi effect — simpler, portable, suited for batch work and lighter materials. For continuous production adhesive runs, CET recommends pressure feed.

How Part Numbers Work

Reading a P100G Model Number

Every model follows: P100G – NOZZLE SIZE – AIR CAP

ExampleNozzleAir Cap
P100G-18-2263 1.8mm 21-2263 (pressure)
P100G-22-2467 2.2mm 21-2467 (siphon)
P100G-18-1590 1.8mm 1590 anti-shear (waterborne only)

Air caps ending in T (e.g. 2266T, 2266-3T) = PTFE coated  ·  Ending in -3 = 3-hole high-output  ·  Siphon caps carry 2X66T or 2X6X siphon series numbers. Unsure? Call 586-210-0555.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the P100G different from a standard gun?

PTFE hard coat on both the gun body and air cap prevents adhesive from bonding to contact surfaces — wipe clean instead of soak and scrub. All stainless steel fluid passages resist solvent-based adhesives and waterborne formulations. Standard aluminum bodies foul quickly in adhesive environments.

Pressure vs. siphon feed for adhesive work?

Pressure feed pushes material under regulated air pressure — more consistent flow on heavier materials and at higher production volumes. Siphon feed draws material from a cup — simpler, portable, suited for batch work. For continuous production adhesive runs, CET recommends pressure feed.

What is the P100G-18-1590 and when do I need it?

The only P100G setup for waterborne adhesives. Uses a 1590 anti-shear internal mix outfit that atomizes water-based contact cements without the mechanical shear force that degrades waterborne adhesive chemistry and reduces bond strength. Call before ordering to confirm compatibility with your specific product.

What compressor do I need?

Siphon at 12 SCFM: 30-gallon @ 90 PSI. Pressure at 14 SCFM: 60-gallon minimum @ 125 PSI. High-output pressure at 16.2 SCFM: 80-gallon minimum @ 125 PSI. Call 586-210-0555 if unsure whether your existing compressor is sized correctly.

Are carbide nozzles available?

Yes — available as drop-in replacements at 1.8mm (31-0618V), 2.2mm, and 2.8mm (31-0628V) for abrasive or particle-laden formulations that cause premature stainless nozzle wear.

What repair kit does the P100G use?

All P100G configurations use repair kit 10-110 — all wear seals, o-rings, springs, and needle seal for a complete rebuild. CET stocks repair kits for same-day shipment.
