Configuration Detail
AB513 — At a Glance
|
Fluid Tip 36-513 0.013” orifice · 50° angle · ~10” pattern. AAA carbide, field-replaceable; tuned for medium-viscosity production coatings. |
Air Cap AAA HVLP air cap Refines airless atomization with a small volume of HVLP air for a soft, fine break-up on production finishes. |
Gun Type AAA · Automatic Machine-mount · 2500 PSI max All-stainless fluid section, pneumatically actuated. Requires an AAA pump (e.g., Peak 14:1). |
Recirculating or Non-Recirculating
Every Auto Bobcat ships ready for either plumbing. For fluid recirculation through the head, both manifold ports carry fluid inlet 66-253 and fluid can enter from either side. For a non-recirculating (dead-end) setup, one port is blanked with 66-253-B and fluid enters the open side. The gun circulates very close to the tip to keep material from settling.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the automatic different from the hand-held Bobcat? The Bobcat Automatic is machine-mounted and pneumatically actuated for reciprocators, flat-line, and robotic finishing — no trigger. It runs at up to 2500 PSI fluid and mounts as a direct replacement for common competitor automatic guns with virtually no hardware change. |
Can it recirculate fluid? Yes. Every gun ships able to run recirculating (both ports fitted with 66-253) or non-recirculating (one port blanked with 66-253-B). It circulates close to the tip to keep material from settling. Standard or Cefla (pivot-hub) manifold available. |
What tip does the AB513 use? The 36-513 AAA carbide tip — 0.013” orifice, 50° angle, ~10” pattern — delivering approximately 17 oz/min at 1000 PSI. Tips are field-replaceable; ask CET about other angles and orifices. |
