The Wagner PEM-X1 CG is the cup-fed variant of the PEM-X1 manual powder gun — designed for fast color changes, portability, and small-batch flexibility. Same 100kV high-performance cascade as the standard PEM-X1, same X1 nozzle ecosystem, but powder feeds from a cup on the gun instead of a hose from a hopper or box. Ideal as a standalone gun with an existing controller, or as a second gun added to a Sprint 2 system.

OVERVIEW
The PEM-X1, Cup-Fed for Speed and Flexibility
The PEM-X1 CG is the cup-fed variant of Wagner’s PEM-X1 manual powder gun. Instead of drawing powder through a hose from a hopper or box, the CG feeds from a 0.2L cup mounted directly on the gun body. This makes it the fastest gun in the PEM-X1 family for color changes — swap the powder cup (2324139), purge, and spray the next color in about 15 seconds.
At 530 grams (without cup), the CG delivers 200 g/min with the same 100kV high-performance cascade, three selectable charging curves, integrated cascade cooling, and on-gun powder quantity controls as the standard PEM-X1. It shares the entire X1 nozzle ecosystem: flat spray, round spray, deflector cones, CoronaStar, extensions, and electrode holders.
This is a gun-only purchase — a compatible control unit is required but not included. The CG works with the EPG Sprint XE, WACON Sprint 2 X, or WACON Sprint 2 XE. If you need the complete system with controller and case, see the Sprint 2 CG Case Set (2467115). The CG is also commonly added as a second gun to an existing Sprint 2 B or H system for touch-ups, color samples, or small parts.

Cup gun vs standard PEM-X1?
The CG draws powder from a cup on the gun (200 g/min) vs the standard PEM-X1 (2322587) which draws from a hopper or box via powder hose (420–450 g/min). Same 100kV cascade, same nozzle ecosystem. The CG trades output volume for portability and instant color changes.
What control unit do I need?
The CG works with any compatible Wagner controller: EPG Sprint XE, WACON Sprint 2 X, or WACON Sprint 2 XE. If you already have a Sprint 2 system, the CG plugs right into the same control unit. If you need a controller, the Sprint 2 CG Case Set (2467115) bundles the gun with a WACON Sprint 2 X.
Can I add this as a second gun to my Sprint 2?
Yes — this is one of the most common use cases. Add the CG as a second gun to your Sprint 2 B or Sprint 2 H for quick color samples, touch-ups, or small parts without interrupting the main production gun.
Same nozzles and accessories?
